What is Gold Filled?
Gold filled (also known as rolled gold or gold bonded) is created by mechanically bonding a thick layer of real gold to a brass base. The gold layer must be at least 1/20th of the total metal weight — making it far more durable and long-lasting than gold plating. Gold filled is tarnish resistant, hypoallergenic, and can last a lifetime with normal care.
