Our memorial jewellery allows you to keep a small amount of ashes, hair, pet fur, or dried flowers preserved inside a beautiful handcrafted piece. Each item is carefully created in our South Oxfordshire studio using premium materials like sterling silver, gold-filled, or solid gold.

What can I preserve in memorial jewellery?

You can preserve almost anything dry and meaningful:

• Cremation ashes - from loved ones or pets
• Hair or fur - human hair, pet fur (dog, cat, horse, rabbit, etc.)
• Dried flowers - wedding bouquets, funeral flowers, or special occasion blooms
• Animal parts - hedgehog quills, feathers, whiskers, or other small keepsakes
• Fabric - small pieces of meaningful clothing or textiles
• Other dry materials - sand, soil, or any small dry item with sentimental value

How much ashes or hair do I need to send?

Only a very small amount is needed - typically less than half a teaspoon of ashes or a small lock of hair (about the thickness of a pencil). For items like hedgehog quills or feathers, just a few pieces are sufficient. We'll provide detailed instructions with your order.

Is it safe to send ashes or hair in the post?

Yes, absolutely. We provide secure packaging instructions and thousands of customers have safely sent their precious materials to us. We treat every item with the utmost care and respect.

How long does it take to create my memorial jewellery?

Current turnaround time is typically 1-3 weeks from when we receive your materials. We'll keep you updated throughout the process.

Can I see a preview before you finish my piece?

Because our resin pieces are permanent once cured, we cannot make changes after the piece is created. This is why it's important to tell us any special requests when you order, such as:

• Whether you'd like inclusions (ashes, hair, flowers) hidden, visible, or mixed throughout
• Any specific placement preferences
• Colour or design preferences

If you don't have specific requests, I'll create the piece in the way I feel showcases your materials most beautifully. Every piece is handcrafted with care and attention to detail.

What if I don't have ashes or hair yet?

Do you return unused ashes or hair?

Yes, we always return any unused materials to you in a secure container along with your finished jewellery.

How do I choose the right size for rings?

We offer a free ring sizer service - just contact us and we'll send you a ring sizer in the post. Alternatively, you can visit a local jeweller to get sized professionally.

Can I customize my memorial jewellery?

Yes! Many of our pieces can be customized with:

• Choice of metal (sterling silver, gold-filled, or solid gold)
• Gemstone options (opals, birthstones, etc.)
• Engraving (names, dates, or short messages)
• Chain length for necklaces
• How inclusions are displayed (hidden, visible, or mixed)

How do I care for my memorial jewellery?

To keep your memorial jewellery looking beautiful:

• Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising
• Store in a cool, dry place when not wearing
• Clean gently with a soft cloth - avoid harsh chemicals
• For resin pieces, avoid prolonged sun exposure

We include detailed care instructions with every order.

Is memorial jewellery waterproof?

While our pieces are sealed and protected, we recommend removing them before swimming or showering to preserve their beauty long-term. Resin pieces especially should be kept dry.

What is your returns policy?

Ready-Made & Non-Memorial Jewellery: All ready-made items can be returned within the standard returns period. If the return is not due to a fault, the customer is responsible for return postage costs.

Custom Memorial Jewellery: Because each memorial piece is custom-made with your personal materials, these items are non-returnable. However, if there's any issue with your jewellery, please contact us within 14 days and we'll do our best to help and resolve the problem.

Faulty Items: If any item arrives faulty or damaged, we will resolve the issue at no cost to you.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we only ship within the UK. UK orders typically arrive within 2-3 working days. If you're located outside the UK and would like to enquire about a custom order, please contact us to discuss options.

How is my order shipped?

All orders are sent via Royal Mail tracked delivery. Higher value orders are sent with tracked and signed delivery or Special Delivery for added security. We choose the most appropriate shipping method based on the value of your order to ensure your jewellery arrives safely.

Can I order memorial jewellery as a gift?

Absolutely! Memorial jewellery makes a thoughtful sympathy gift. We can include a gift message and send directly to the recipient if you prefer.
